OVATION WELCOMES NIKKI SIXX TO THE FAMILY

Sixx will soon embark on Mötley Crüe’s “Red White and Crue” tour, launching the reunion of Mötley’s original lineup.

Ovation Guitars is proud to welcome Nikki Sixx to its family of artists.
Sixx, a legend among bassists and one of founding members of Mötley Crüe—one of the most influential rock bands in history, approached Ovation about building a custom bass. Ovation took on the project with a vengeance and built an acoustic/electric bass that would best reflect Sixx’s notorious monster sound. Ovation made Sixx a custom Elite T bass complete with a custom paint job featuring red flame finish and iron cross inlays. Electronics are powered by a customized Ovation Op Pro preamp…which best reflects Nikki’s brute tone and style.
Check out Nikki on tour with his custom Ovation Elite T during Mötley Crüe’s "Red White and Crue" tour. The tour, which launches the reunion of Motley’s original lineup of Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil has been the biggest music headline of 2005.
