This emotional video for the title track from Glen Campbell’s farewell album, Adios follows his signature Ovation Guitar on its final journey from Nashville to the California Coast where it receives a “Viking Funeral.” The heartfelt video features members of the Campbell family and combines archival photo and video to document the instrument’s journey to its final destination. The Glen Campbell Signature Model used in in the video is a precise recreation of Campbell’s iconic “1771” model created in celebration of his nearly 50-year relationship with the American guitar brand. In the touching tribute, the Ovation guitar passes first from Campbell’s musician daughter, Ashley Campbell through the hands of various people as it travels West where Campbell’s grandson, Jeremy Olsen lights the guitar ablaze and sets it out to sea to its final resting place. Campbell passed away on August 8th, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
