The Applause Acoustic/Electric Bass guitars highlight the focus, projection and articulation that Ovation's Lyrachord body produces in the lower register. This new vintage varnish finish on the flamed maple top Applause Elite bass includes additional Ovation appointments such as a spruce top, scalloped X bracing, and laser-cut, multi-port sound holes. Unplugged or amplified, this is a performance instrument. Four string bass models offer exceptional volume and clarity usually expected from much higher priced instruments.
