Featuring a spruce top with matched, lightweight bracing designed to enhance punch and projection, this 4-string bass guitar produces a big, clear sound. Ovation’s classic Mid-Depth composite body delivers balanced acoustic tone and is comfortable to hold and play. The center soundhole offers a traditional look, and a cutaway insures easy access along the satin-finished nato neck and rosewood fretboard. Assuring correct string tension and intonation, a full 34” scale delivers harmonically rich timbres across the instrument’s entire range. The OP-4BT preamp offers +/-12 dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies for great tonal flexibility.

The popular OP-4BT preamp features 3-band EQ with +/-12 dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies, and a handy battery status light. An accurate and easy-to-use onboard chromatic tuner works equally well for standard, open, and altered tunings.
