CC49S Deep Contour
The new CC49S-VA marks Ovation’s first multi-sound hole Celebrity model to offer the benefits of its innovative Contour body. Improved ergonomic bowl shaping gives the guitar a more comfortable feel and provides jumbo guitar-sized acoustic response with the feel of a smaller body instrument. The CC49S-VA also features solid spruce top finished in a Vintage Amber stain, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, chrome hardware, and Ovation’s own OP4BT preamp with on-board tuner – all at a price point lower than ever.
Contour Bowl
Made from glass-microsphere impregnated Lyrachord® composite, Ovation’s Contour Bowl is designed to provide maximum acoustic response with the feel of a small-body instrument. Sculpted to fit the contour of the player’s anatomy, the lightweight Lyrachord® GS body is a joy to hold, whether sitting or standing. A Contour Bowl body has the acoustic projection, midrange punch, and huge bottom end of a traditional jumbo-style instrument, yet offers the playing comfort of Ovation’s Super-Shallow body. With its tough-as-nails construction, this body shape represents the latest evolution of Ovation’s pioneering Roundback® design.
OP-4BT
The popular OP-4BT preamp features 3-band EQ with +/-12 dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies, and a handy battery status light. An accurate and easy-to-use onboard chromatic tuner works equally well for standard, open, and altered tunings.
