As a solo act, he has performed in numerous clubs and bars in and around Columbus such as The Lodge Bar, Brazenhead, Whiskey Dicks, Gibby’s and Tommy Keegans to name a few. He has performed as opening act for a long list of national country acts including Josh Gracin, Buddy Jewell, Sugarland, Steve Azar, Jeff Bates, Jason Aldean, Josh Turner, and Little Big Town. Additionally, Eric has taken the stage at several Nashville establishments during his frequent visits to the Music City, including The French Quarter and the world-famous songwriter mecca, the Bluebird Cafe.
Some accomplishments include making it to the Regional Finals of the 2006 season of “Nashville Star”. He went as far the final 45 in the country out of over 22,000 competitors! Additionally, he was a State Finalist in the 2005 Colgate Country Showdown and was also one of 20 finalists selected from over 750 applicants for the 2004 Central Ohio televised vocal competition, “Gimme The Mike Columbus”. His music ranges from country to rock to classic, not to mention a healthy list of originals. Many of his numerous country tunes are currently being pitched to Nashville’s biggest artists by Writer’s Zone Publishing Company in Nashville. E’do is an associate writer for Writer Zone, which is a joint venture between veteran song-plugger/publisher Steve Bloch, songwriter John Robbin (Chris Cagle’s “Breath In, Breath Out”), and songwriter Rand Bishop (Toby Keith’s “My List”).
