Entry Submission
December 8th - January 12th
All contest entry designs must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. January 12th, 2012. All submissions must follow the creative brief and design specifications in order to be chosen as a finalist and eligible for public voting.
Judging
January 13th - January 16th
A panel of Judges chosen by Ovation Guitars will choose the top five design finalists. On January 17th, 2012, the top five finalists with be announced and will be open to voting by Ovation players, fans and enthusiasts. We're looking for the best of the best, so put your heart and soul into your design.
Judging Criteria
- Follows the provided guitar design template
- Image is a a 226x590 pixel PNG
- Originality
- Creativity
- Reflection of Ovation brand and attitude
- Adherence to specifications and creative brief
- Quality of work
- Number of facebook likes will be taken into account, be sure to share your design!*
*Likes will not count as votes, but popularity will be taken into account
Voting
January 17th - January 24th
The top 5 finalists designs will then be posted to a page of the site, where the Ovation fans will be asked to pick their favorite design to be produced as the next Ovation guitar. Voting will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on January 24th, 2012. At that point, the designs will be ranked by number of votes and the top three finalists will be awarded prizes.
Make sure to share this contest and your design with all your friends and family to increase your chances of winning. The more you get the word out about your design the better your chances.
