Ovation’s new Burled Maple Celebrity Guitar is the latest addition to its popular and value priced CC Series guitars.

Found mostly in the pacific northwestern US, Burled maple is created when an unusual growth on the tree yields a highly figured piece of wood. Burled wood is darker in color than maple, and has many whorls and patterns. To enhance the unique figure of the wood grain, each guitar top is finished with a light nutmeg stain. Other noteworthy features include a mid-depth body, rosewood fingerboard, gold hardware, and Ovation’s OP4BT preamp with on-board tuner. Retail: $599.50 including case.
