Ovation Guitars recently donated a Woodstock-themed guitar to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, as part of an online fundraising auction.

The guitar has been autographed by members of the Heroes of Woodstock bands — Jefferson Starship, Canned Heat, Big Brother & The Holding Company, Ten Years After and Tom Constanten and Country Joe McDonald. The performers signed the acoustic-electric guitar after performing at MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

The guitar is listed on eBay under the seller name thevenuenewspaper, Bidding begins Aug. 30 at noon and continues through Sept. 8 at noon. FMIC employees and immediate family are not eligible to win but are welcome to encourage others to bid.
