Ovation is proud to offer four new Limited Edition models – “The Demented Collection” - designed by renowned guitarist and longtime Ovation endorsee, DJ Ashba.

DJ is best known as co-founder of the hard rock bands Sixx AM and Beautiful Creatures. In addition, DJ co-wrote and co-produced Motley Crue’s 2008 release, “Saints of Los Angeles” and Sixx AM’s “Heroin Diaries” soundtrack. In addition to his musical talents DJ is an equally gifted graphic designer – his creative agency, Ashba Media, has clients including Virgin Entertainment and Royal Underground. Most recently, DJ signed on as the guitarist for Guns N’ Roses.

Ovation’s R&D Team worked alongside DJ to fine tune every aspect of each guitar. As a result, not only do these guitars stand apart from an artistic perspective, but they also raise the bar for what electric players will come to expect out of their acoustics. Features include a mid-depth Roundback body for superior balance at any note on the fretboard, scalloped bracing to maximize top vibration, and Ovation’s Slimline pickup with individual sensors for each string.
