During stops on their recent Jagermeister Tour, Italian Goth rockers Lacuna Coil performed intimate unplugged sets to jam-packed audiences at select Ovation dealers throughout the United States. The band, outfitted with an arsenal of Ovation Elite T guitars—treated fans to a live acoustic set, Q&A session and autographs. “Ovation is proud to have Lacuna Coil serve as brand ambassadors. The mini concerts have been a huge success not only for Ovation, but for our valued dealers,” said Rick Hall, product manager for Ovation Guitars.

Lacuna Coil, (which translates to “empty spiral” in English) released their highly acclaimed self-titled debut in 1998. The band features Cristina Scabbia (vocals), Andrea Ferro (vocals), Cristano Migliore (guitars), Marco Coti Zelati (bass), and Christiano Mozzati (drums). Lacuna Coil has toured with Type O Negative, P.O.D, Opeth and Danzig, among many others. The band’s current release “Karmacode” surfaced in 2006 landing in the Billboard Top 30.
