Ovation’s redesigned Adamas I and II guitars are lighter and more acoustically responsive than their predecessors.  Tops are composed of an extremely thin layer of birch surrounded by two layers of carbon fiber and hand fitted to the body using Ovation’s “AST” (Adamas Suspended Top) technology – allowing the top to vibrate more freely than conventional top to body systems.  Bodies are handcrafted from fiberglass cloth, the thinnest and lightest material ever used on an Ovation guitar.  Neck profiles are walnut and carved to a vintage Ovation “soft V” profile for comfortable playing all along the neck.

Both guitars come equipped with OP-Pro Studio preamps – combining state-of-the-art audio quality with exclusive features designed to meet the needs of professional guitarists. The easy-to-operate unit offers 3-band EQ, exciter and compressor/limiter circuitry, and a chromatic tuner. Ovation’s exclusive Expressor and Drive sliders put dynamic control and harmonic enhancement at your fingertips, allowing you to dial in the precise amount of sustain and punch required by the music.
