In this guitar lesson you will the five positions of the pentatonic scale.  The scale is one of the most fundamental in music theory and is used in blues, rock, country and almost every other genre of music. If you want solo and improvise the pentatonic scale is an absolute must.  The theory can go deep but this lesson will keep it simple.  Once you learn the five positions it will have you play a little run over a track of G, C and D that will tie all five positions together.  The goal of this lesson is to train your ear and become familiar enough with the scale that you’ll be able to recognize it in a song.  Have fun with it!
