Okay, put down your pick.  In this guitar lesson, you’re going to learn how to ‘tap’.  This lesson is recommended for intermediate to advanced players.  It involves complex rhythmic sensibility, execution, some basic music theory, lots of hammer ons and pull offs and fast fingers!  It’s executed using one hand to ‘tap’ the strings against the fingerboard while the other presses them down.

Tapping is mostly associated with electric guitar but it can be played on mostly any string instrument.  Have fun!
